MIAR Ceramics & Arts welcomes Georges Sybesma

Georges was born in 1960 in Ridderkerk, Netherlands. He made his first pots in his mother's studio.

Currently a leading French potter with a very unconventional style of making pots that with mutlple layers of slips are both strong and distinctly identifiable as by Georges.

His work is included in the public collections of the National Museum of Ceramics, Sèvres and the Museum Bernard Palissy, Saint- Avrit.
